The Awaken Women's Conference gives women from every generation an opportunity to break away from the demands of daily life and enter into His rest.
Angie will share and teach on the ways the memories of the past and the anticipation of the future can affect our experience of the present. By addressing the constructive and destructive ways we do both, we can learn how to fully embrace the moment and glorify Christ in the process.
Guest Speaker & Worship Leader
Angie Smith, Speaker
Angie is married to Todd Smith, of the Christian group, Selah, and mom to five daughters. In 2008, the Smiths received news that their 4th daughter, Audrey, would not survive, and Angie began blogging as a means of communication with friends and family during those difficult days.
Angie now writes books and Bible studies, and teaches around the country, but the heart of her ministry is the same as it was when her fingers typed the very first words on her blog years ago: Angie's greatest passion is to make the Bible feel accessible and relevant and to encourage others in their faith journey.
Angie holds a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology from Vanderbilt University and is a best-selling author of multiple adult and children’s books. She and Todd (and their house full of daughters) live in Nashville, TN.
Zach freeman, Worship Leader
Zach Freeman is the Worship Pastor at Vineyard Cincinnati Church. He has led worship for churches, camps, and conferences for over 7 years. God has given Zach an engaging, vibrant sound and heart for worship.
Zach grew up in Chicago and Miami and has been given the opportunity to lead thousands in worship. He and his wife Daniella are the proud parents of two children and enjoy doing ministry together.

Do you offer group rates for discounts?
We are unable to offer a discounted group rate at this time.
Can I bring my child? Is there a reduced rate for children?
We love kids! However, Awaken is designed for women who are at least in their teens. Attendees of all ages will need to pay the full conference price.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit card payments when you register online. We accept cash and checks, but not credit cards when you register on-site on the day of the event. A full payment is required when you register.
Can I register on-site on the day of the event?
Yes, we will have on-site registration available at $50/ticket.
What is your cancellation policy?
The conference will proceed unless the entire Vineyard Cincinnati campus is closed. In the event of closure, we will attempt to reschedule for an alternative weekend and your ticket will be valid on the rescheduled dates. Unfortunately, refunds can only be issued in the event of a canceled event with no possibility of rescheduling.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Awaken! We couldn’t make this conference happen without the help of key volunteers willing to serve in different roles throughout the conference.
May I sign up my friends to volunteer?
Yes! Simply enter their information including email address so an Awaken team member can be in contact with serving instructions.
Can I choose where (area of service) I volunteer?
Yes, you can choose the type of volunteer role and time period when you register to serve.
Do you need male volunteers?
We could certainly use some guys to help with set up or tear down!

- Chicken Salad Wrap (Romaine, Spring Mix, Chicken Salad with a side of Raspberry Vinaigrette) with fresh side and brownie ($10.00)

FOOD & DRINK
Will there be any food & drinks served at Awaken?
Yes, we will provide a light snack Saturday morning. Box lunches are also available for purchase in advance when you register. (See lunch options above) We will provide complimentary bottled water, coffee, and hot tea. There are also vending machines on the premises with other drinks (including soda) as well as other snacks.
What if I have a medical condition that requires a special diet?
We do our best to offer a nice variety of snacks; however, we cannot accommodate any specific dietary needs.
Can I bring food/drinks with me?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.
Are box lunches available for lunch?
Yes! Box lunches are available for purchase in advance when you register. A limited supply will be available for walk-in guests. There are also a wide variety of restaurants within 5 miles of the church where you can enjoy lunch.

Does Awaken have recommended hotels with discounted rates?
There are several hotels in the immediate area, but we do not offer discounted rates.
Where do I park? How much does parking cost?
Parking at Vineyard Cincinnati Church is free!
Are there shuttles from the hotels?
There is no shuttle service offered by Awaken.
FAQ's
Is this event available in Spanish?
Yes! We have on-site interpreters and Spanish materials available for our Spanish speaking sisters. Please come to the registration table especially for Spanish speaking ladies in order to check out a headset and get your Spanish materials.
Is sign language interpretation provided?
We're sorry, but sign language interpretation is not offered at this time.
What should I wear to Awaken?
Please dress as you feel most comfortable!
Do you provide child care?
Unfortunately, there will not be childcare available at Awaken.
Are seats reserved or general admission?
Seats are first come first served.
Can I purchase a video of the event or of an individual message?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide video or DVDs of the sessions at this time.
Where can I get marketing materials for my church?
We are working on uploading materials for you and will have them available to download as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
How can I exhibit my product or ministry at your event?
We love incorporating ministry based/non-profit organizations into our conference experience. If you are interested in setting up a table, please contact us at awaken@vineyardcincinnati.com by August 1, 2017. Please understand we have a very limited number of spaces available and can only accommodate a few vendors every year.
How do I share my story with Awaken?

Is there a quiet place I can go to pray at the event?
While we don't have a specific place set aside for private prayer, there are several nooks and crannies at the Vineyard. Find someone in an Awaken Staff shirt and they can help you find a quiet place.
I lost something at Awaken. What do I do?
During the conference, there will be a "lost and found" located near the Big Room. Find anyone wearing an Awaken shirt at the event and they can direct you where to look. If you realize you've lost something after the conference has concluded, please contact the Vineyard Cincinnati office (513) 671-0422 and they will assist you.
