What's Happening in the Prayer Ministry?

We’re coming off the heels of so much God activity in our community… and it’s been So. Good.
Pentecost Sunday served as a reminder for so many of us that the Pentecost we read about in Scripture has serious implications for sons and daughters today!
As a result of God indwelling us, setting up His tabernacle in us, we can do the things He planned for us long ago. We can demonstrate His power, not only through signs, wonders and miracles, but through the fruit of His Spirit.
We have been empowered to produce Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control as we continue abiding with the source.
We also witnessed God do amazing things through the Hunger Walk as we “filled the hill” to help celebrate and commemorate 15 strong years of Healing Center ministry to the poor and outcast of our community. Praise the Lord!
Of all the incredible God activity we’ve experienced and continue to experience — we also felt the need to pause to reflect on Memorial Day and those who sacrificed their lives for our country’s freedom. As you already know — freedom isn’t free! So we want to pay tribute to the fallen men and women who paid the ultimate price for our country’s liberty.
May God minister His peace, comfort and rest to all families of fallen soldiers, government employees and private citizens lost in combat and conflict for the sake of a free America! May God continue to guide you and gift you strength and solace! Amen!!
Here's an update on the Ascension to Pentecost Prayer event.
About 46 people were equipped in ministry prayer, we hosted a successful “Ascension to Pentecost Prayer Event” for our city, we’re hearing and receiving more testimonies of healing and deliverance in people’s lives, and gearing up to welcome more salvations and decisions for baptism in the not-too-distant future. What a time to be partners of Kingdom ministry!
God has done more than we could have asked or imagined during these 10 days of prayer here at VCC. The Spirit was so present and powerful in that space, it was undeniable! We want to extend a “THANK YOU” to all who gave an hour (or many) to intercede on behalf of our community and city.
Your prayers are powerful and will not return void! Below are just a few snapshots of how our community experienced God and heard His voice throughout their time in the Prayer Room.
Thanks for your partnership. I pray we continue to encounter Jesus so that we may extend the encounter to others. If you'd like to read more about what's happening in this ministry, read the newsletter here.
Blessings,
Clay
