Why do I volunteer at the Vineyard?

Dale Bowden and his wife serve at the Vineyard by making coffee for the 10:30am service every other Sunday.
“Ten years ago they were looking for people to volunteer,” he says. “We were new to the church and wanted to get plugged in.”
The Bowdens had found the Vineyard through the Learning Tree homeschool co-op.
“The kids said they wanted to come to church,” Dale says, “but my wife and I hesitated because it was a big place. But the kids have graduated from college and we’re still coming and love it!”
Dale’s favorite part about volunteering?
“We get to interact with visitors and get to keep people awake in the service!”
